2022 Varsity Recap
1/4/2023

2022 Record: 11-7

Goals For: 38

Goals Against: 19

Our varsity squad started the year young and inexperienced, and ended the season with an excellent month of performances in September as one of the top teams in the region. Comprised of 1 freshman, 7 sophomores, 11 juniors, and 9 seniors, we had a lot players who stepped into major varsity roles for the first time in their high school careers. We knew it would be a process to bring this group together and develop chemistry, but we also knew that it was a talented group with high potential. Tons of credit to the boys and our leadership on staying the course, as they finished the season really strong over the last month with a September record of 7-2 with 31 goals for and 9 against. They finished second in the Great Crossing Warhawk Classic and ended the regular season ranked 8th in KY in the Maher rankings with a top 10 schedule. While we didn’t have the long postseason run that we thought we could have, it doesn’t take away from the awesome progress and development we saw from this group this year. Excellent season boys!
