JV Navy Preseason Thoughts and Season Goals
8/8/2017by Raney

I’m excited about the potential this season has to offer.  The boys are motivated and have demonstrated that they are willing to work hard to achieve great things this season.  We have a great group of soccer players.  With only 4 returning players from last year, our team isn’t as experienced, athletic or talented as we’ve been in past years, but several of the players have already walked up to me and said, “Coach, I’m ready to step up this season.”  That is the exact attitude that you like to see in a younger player.  I expect some adversity throughout the season and am excited to see how the team manages it.

The JV Navy team met last week to discuss our 2017 team goals.  The goals that were set were 100% the ideas of the players.  The coaches are enthusiastic about the ambition that the players have for the upcoming season.  It’s going to be a challenging season, but everyone is on board to work hard to accomplish these goals.
